Reading faces since 2008
Drashti has been threading since 2008. That mostly buys her judgement, which is hard to advertise but easy to notice: where the brow should start, where it should peak and where it should end are different questions for every face, and after enough years she can see the answer before picking up the thread.
The technique matters too. A twisted cotton thread catches a whole row of hairs and lifts each from the follicle in one clean line, so the shaper decides exactly where the line falls. Wax removes whatever it covers. Nothing but cotton touches your skin, which is also why threading is usually fine if you use retinol when facial waxing is not.
- Reshaping? Let it grow two to three weeks first. We can take hair away on the day; we cannot put it back.
- Bring a photo if you have a shape in mind. Much quicker than describing it.
- Growing them out? Say so and we will clean up strays and leave the line alone.

Who does the threading?
Drashti, who owns the salon and has been a beautician since 2008. This is a small salon, so she looks at your brows and she shapes them, every visit.
How often should I come back?
Every three to four weeks for most people. Past about five weeks you are rebuilding the shape rather than maintaining it, which takes longer and gives you less control over the result.
Do you do anything besides threading?
Yes, thirty-two treatments in total: waxing, facials, hair henna and head massage, and face bleach.

Are you open Saturdays?
Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, closed Sunday. Saturday is the busiest day, so book ahead.
